New Holy Ganges Public School traces its roots back to 1988. The school was started by a group of like-minded people committed to better the educational standards of Khagaria.

The school is run by Sundari Devi Jalan Educational Welfare Society. Late Sundari Devi Jalan jee was a great visionary who with her husband built temples and seva sadans to serve the society at large. The name thus is an attempt to cherish and honor the memory of Late Sundari Devi Jalan jee.

Dramatics, Elocution, Debates are parts of daily lives of students at this school. Hindi is compulsorily taught as a language here. The school is affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi up to senior secondary.
